In the past 10 days, Ruby has started walking, and practically running! She's tickled with herself that she can walk to wherever she wants to go. And now we've had to move everything up a shelf because she can reach so much more. I'm really not sure where we're going to put all the stuff that used to be in her reach. Right now it's all piled in various inconvenient places.
My mom, (Nana) is here! We've loved having her here for the week leading up to Ruby's birthday and of course the big day! We had a little party and had friends come over for strawberry shortcake, cookies, and snacks. On the actual day of her birthday (Sunday) we celebrated by going to the park.
At her one year doctor appointment, she measured 77 cm long and weighed in at a little over 21.5 pounds. The doctor says she's doing great.
